"There's no such thing as a perfect parent, but if you want to become a better parent, this class can really help. Merav creates a safe environment for parents to share their frustrations and gives you the tools to raise kind, confident, free-thinking children."
"I love this approach because it fosters mutual respect in families, and Merav is such a knowledgeable and nonjudgemental guide in the positive discipline philosophy."
"There are so many baby classes but not a lot of classes for the next steps. These are the important years we are shaping our children into humans."
Eye to Eye Parenting came from my own journey as a mother, wife and global citizen. I believe in raising good people. I also believe that in today's world, it's harder than ever to find the tools, support and community to help you in that process. Through parenting classes I hope to give parents the tools they have been missing. Keep checking back to see what workshops are available!
Because parenting doesn't come with a handbook... until now.
Gain tools to practice parenting you can feel good about.
Help your children grow and become the best version of themselves.
Eye to Eye Parenting and it's programs are based on the internationally recognized Positive Discipline program. Positive Discipline is a program designed to teach young people to become responsible, respectful and resourceful members of their communities. Based on the best selling Positive Discipline books by Dr. Jane Nelsen, Lynn Lott, Cheryl Erwin and others, it teaches important social and life skills in a manner that is deeply respectful and encouraging for both children and adults.
My name is Merav and I am the mother of two amazing, kind, unique, and challenging-on-a-daily-basis children. I’m also very fortunate to be married to an incredible man who rides the waves as we learn and grow as a family and as individuals.
I’ve always been an educator. Whether it was on my youth group board or working in my synagogue day care program, learning and growing has been a life long pursuit. With my background in education, program development, and project management, I am perfectly poised to venture into supporting families.
Though my family has been practicing Positive Discipline for years, I received my certification, through the Positive Discipline Association, as a Parent Educator to deepen my knowledge and skills. I’m thrilled to pass along what I have learned and experienced to others because, as we all know, long gone are the days of living in small, tight knit villages where parenting was a shared experience. Through Eye to Eye Parenting, it’s my goal to bring some of that feeling of community support back to raising our children.
The days are long but the years pass faster than we realize. Come join me in raising confident, kind, and responsible human beings.
